1.      What are the methods used to decrease drag of a car?
2.      Describe the motion of the vehicle resisted by aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance and climbing resistance.
3.      What are various types of drags acting on a vehicle? Explain the effect of each type and methods to calculate the magnitude of drags.
4.      Discuss the concept of hatch back, fast back and square back for shape optimization of cars.
5.      Explain the term pressure drag of a vehicle.
6.      Write the relation between top speed, aerodynamics and engine power output of a vehicle.
7.      Under what conditions the yawing moment, a vehicle becomes aerodynamically unstable.
8.      Explain in details the optimization analysis of fore body, windshield and roof of a vehicle.

2.      Explain flow phenomenon related to vehicles.
3.      What are the sources of forces and moments acting on a vehicle?
4.      Explain the development in the shape of cars starting from Camille Jenatzy in 1899 to the shapes of modern cars. Describe the features in terms of fuel efficiency, speed, luxuries.
5.      What is the effect of flow separation on a vehicle?
6.      Explain the performance of a vehicle in terms of motive force diagram, acceleration time and elasticity and specific fuel consumption.
7.      Name the parameter on which aerodynamic drag of a vehicle depends?
